The Player is to identify the missing word and to click on it. Each time the game is played a different word is removed from the sentence.
This is also an understanding checking game, but this time five words are removed from a paragraph of text. Those five words together with some other three are listed at the bottom of the screen. The Player is to click on the right word in the right order. The first missing word is to be clicked first, the second is to be clicked after that and so on. Again each time the game is being played different words are removed from the passage.
This is the game of finding a meaning relating to a selected word. (A synonym is a word which, although spelled differently, represents similar meaning.) The game selects one word from a passage and lists four underneath. The Player is to click on the word that represents a similar meaning to the one selected.
This game tests the understanding of the emotional intentions of a literary author when writing some fiction prose. A sentence or a short passage taken from a book is listed in the game. One of the words in that passage introduces an emotional element to the text. It may represent some mood or stress related to the information suggested by the text. At the bottom of the screen four words selected from the text are listed. One of them is the emotive word, while the other three are randomly chosen. The Player is to identify the emotive word.
This game tests understanding of literary style used by an author when describing some fictitious story. The Player is presented with a paragraph of text taken from a book with some text fragments presented in three different literary styles. One of them is taken from the original text, and the other two are invented for the purpose of this exercise. The Player is to identify the original text fragment and to click on it.
